Wondering if he just witnessed Bart Simpson prank call to Moe’s Tavern, he rewound the DVR, recorded and posted this video to Instagram and TikTok...

After a few weeks, his two posts have racked up over 8 million views and 300,000+ shares. On April 24th, The Mets announced on social media that they’re doing a $1 Hot Dog night on April 30th (tonight) using Seymour Weiner as the inspiration.

Now of course, Brett wasn’t the only one to post about it, however it appears his post has had the largest reach, with hundreds of likes, shares, and comments still on daily basis, a month later. Did The Mets not credit Brett’s post because he’s a Yankees fan? Probably - at least that’s what we’re going with. Either way, if you’re going to tonight’s Mets game, you can thank Seymour Weiner for his service and Brett for you $1 hot dog.
